North Korea says a new nuclear test will be part of fight against U.S

fuck, thats not good.

I think NATO needs to invade from all angles, this is getting ridiculous and scary. We cannot have countries threatening entire quadrants of the world for the sake of an argument that was had over 70 years ago, that stemmed from something a century before that!

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Invade? No. All we have to do is run their economy via trade with them, putting a mcdonalds on every street corner, and moving manufacturing there.

Build up their economy in such a way that we could shut them down overnight.

its a smoke show...do you know how many factories are in north korea? way too many for young kim jun il to say goodbye to the money

Kim Jong Un and the leadership of North Korea are clearly insane. The fact that they continue to engage in these provocations, and feel the need for any deterrent at all against the peace loving government of the United States proves this beyond any shadow of a doubt. Clearly we need to nuke them back to the stone age and settle their hash for them once and for all. I mean, what choice do we have?

One of the biggest concerns for a ruler is that "his people" will revolt. If the people enjoy prosperity, there is a low likelihood of revolt. If they are plagued with poverty, the likelihood rises substantially.

Every ruler knows the best way to distract "his people" from their impoverished lives and simultaneously gain their support is to rattle swords about a common enemy. For North Korea, that enemy is the U.S. - and by extension, South Korea and various others actors.

We do the same thing in the U.S.: Hitler, Stalin, The Evil Empire, Saddam Hussein, bin Laden, Ahmadinejad, and on and on. It's a good strategy if you're a tyrant (oops, I mean democratically-elected leader).

The moment any of their missiles posed any sort of threat to us or our allies they'll be wiped off the map after the missile is shot down. It's like a kindergartner trying to beat up a college football player.

Hmm...I think talking China into letting NATO launch an invasion through NK's northern border might be a bit of a challenge. Worth a shot though.

We cannot have countries threatening entire quadrants of the world over diminishing resources so they can continue to squander them in order to haul their fat assess down to the Quicky Mart in their Escalades.

^^ See what I did there?

Nuke them back to the stone age? They pretty much live in the stone age now.
The US would have any missile they launched shot down before it hit open ocean.

All the US would need to do is place a couple missiles in strategic locations and they would be back to square one.

That seems kind of crude. Perhaps after they shoot their nuke, we could talk to them. Tell them it is not nice. And that it is illegal to have those type of weapons. Perhaps we could offer to buy them from them, or maybe give them a tax credit.

lol you know I'm not a proponent for those types of weapon control programs!

They should have to go through a safety training course for nuclear weapons and routinely get tested to keep their Nuke License current. Duh.

And, clearly all missiles should be limited to single warheads, with a fifty kiloton max yield. This is just common sense.
