Number Of Searches From A Specific Country?

I was wondering, is there a way to get more specific information about the number of searches from Google, namely from which country they come? It is quite difficult to know if it's worth to continue building links if a site is not ranking way at, let's say, Google.ca instead of .com ...

Well, you can get this information from Google Analytics, it tells you about the source from where traffic is landing on your website.
