OBAMA hates outsourcing

Well it doesn't help the economy much on this end, but at least it has given a boost to India's and other places that really needed something to help feed families. I'm not against outsourcing at all, it just depends(for me) what I'm getting outsourced. I'll never EVER get my programming outsourced again due to awful jobs one after the other.

I'm not against outsourcing fundamentally but it has it's problems. First it can only last as long as the energy is available to ship products halfway around the world to be assembled and then back again. Once this oil runs out this is going to be practically impossible. Second is that once you outsource all the work in the company you have nowhere to draw the next generation of managers etc. from. Plus a lot of jobs that have been outsourced have been total disasters and involved bringing them all back again at big expense.

Obama hates outsourcing to India > Source

Am coming to US, now :)
R -- Stop listening to what the politicians "say". They will always say things which their target audience wants to hear -- in his case the working class in US.

I usually have to wait at least 8 weeks for the code my programmer assembled to be shipped over here. Since the price of oil spiked our costs have gone through the roof.

What Brar said

I kid you not it starts looking like Communism
Factories to the workers
Free medicine for all and Rising Beast - Russia that we American people need to tame.

Funny thing is - Obama is not stupid enough to believe in that.

But he will say it, because sheeple wants to hear it.
And he needs sheeple, it votes.

A large % of voters are stupid, complete assholes, or both. Or at least ignorant. Hillary Clinton ( and John Edwards, the 9 figure working class guy) has shown that this includes a large % of Democratic voters who believe that "real Americans" are only white, working class ignorant people who are scared that "furriners" and/or affirmative-action are going to "take their jobs"', rape their women, foreclose on their houses, etc. And instead of believing in personal responsibility, freedom, and economic prosperity through healthy competition- they want "the gubmint" to "do something."

All this applies to a large % of Republicans and other voters as well. There is no way either Obama or McCain wins the electon without pandering to the lowest denominator. Messages have to be crafted to voters who are largely leeches on society who want to government to control their lives from cradle to grave. They are motivated by fear and appeased by socialism.

Please realize there are millions of decent Americans with a basic understanding of economics and general human decency. Some of us are even blessed with IQs over 70 and do not ask the government to provide us with jobs we do not deserve or to protect us from ourselves. We do need not a Nanny, Daddy, or Mommy. Since we have no interest in securing welfare or other favors from our government, we are politically impotent. We just go about our business trying to do well in the world and "pay rent" as needed so they will leave us alone.

And we will continue to exercise our freedom as the REAL "real Americans" by engaging in commerce with friendly trading partners all over the world and sending a shit load of money to India and other places as we damn please.

Don't worry what Obama has to say about anything. No way in hell the average American is going to vote for a far left senator that has a year or so experience in government. You had better start worrying about what stances the Republicans have to offer.

Quoting this for the lolz. Good luck with that soccer mom in her first year as governor in alaska as your VP. That's gonna do real well for mccain whos only real argument is that obama has no experience. And the high probability that mccain will die in his first term if he's elected makes it even worse.

Then again, asking you to critically analyze anything is pretty much out of the question.

Obama is getting a ton more press coverage than McCain. Yet he is still about even in teh polls. He should be worried about that.

You do know that numbers can be twisted to make them look as you want them to look like.

I am for outsourcing. Why should you be seeking the best labor at the lowest possible price? Now, that doesn't mean that everything thing needs to be sent over to india by default. In most cases you get what you pay for, and there will always be a market for high quality, native english speaking, programmers.

Isolationism is not the way to protect our economy. The whole notion of keeping money in "our country" is absurd. The world is now in a globalized economy. We can either embrace that fact, or resist it through tarriffs and weaken our position in the world.

Paying fat ass union workers $30 an hour to sweep the floor is not going to solve any problems. Education and knowledge are the assets of the new economy, and people who do not prepare themselves will be left behind.

Who cares if one candidate or another is against outsourcing?
It's still going to happen because neither party is going to either stop it, or provide carrots or sticks to actually keep jobs local.
And jobs that require no transportation, such as anything that can be done over the wires, will always be outsourced. Hell, I'm getting calls on my business line from SriLankans who think they've got an American accent telling me they're in Japan and asking if I want stock tips... because it's still cheaper getting them to call 100 people and paying them for it, then it is to sell one subscription to the Financial Times.
So, outsourcing is here to stay until the cost of primary industries goes up to the point that it's financially unviable to do otherwise.

The media is liberal, of course the only thing they will be serving up if Obama kool-aid
Actually, the media as a whole is centrist because you have plenty on both sides and you have even more in the middle. It will look liberal to those on the right, and conservative to those on the left because of ones own confirmation bias and subjective validation.

And for fucks sake, will people stop talking about fucking kool-aid!
EVERYONE fucking drinks it... It's not even available in Australia and we still fucking drink the kool-aid because Jim Jones makes it so cool, with flavours like tamarind... Mmmm, it's so tangy and fresh, I don't know if it's orange or not!!!
So come up with a new fucking political slur like MMORPGer (more mulato or rapper presidents, guys!), or better yet, go back to the time honoured "ignoramus"!
