Just saw this on Lew Rockwell. It's crazy how bad his speeches are without the teleprompter. It's like he is a totally different person. TBH, he sorta sounds like Bush, :music06:

A few days ago, I read the article you had linked to on politico. Apparently, Obama doesn't go anywhere without his teleprompters. And the White House isn't doing much to wean him from them. From his performances sans teleprompters, I can see why.

He's a brilliant orator when he has them. I was surprised he loses track so easily without them.

He should get one of those secret agent hidden backpack things with the wireless hidden earpiece like the last chap had on presidential debates.

How about you fucking retards watch the interview he did with Jim Lehrer last week.

Online NewsHour | PBS

There is no teleprompter, and he is asked honest tough questions to which he gives thoughtful and intelligent answers.

I don't care if you don't like his policies or if you don't agree with his platform. Arguing that this man can't think on his feet or can't communicate is bullshit.

That interview is 18 minutes, its worth your time to actually watch it.

George Bush made similar blunders at the beginning of his presidency (the all famous 'bushisms'), but after a while he seemed to settle out and learn how to make simple speeches that weren't laughed at by everyone the next day.

Obama just needs to settle in to making these kind of speechs which are very different to the ones he used on the campaign trail.

Fair enough. lol

I sort of meant how they both get lost, and then try to be all "hey bro, how is it going" while they stumble around looking for a lifeline.

ya i know what you mean... talking in front of millions isnt easy.

If it was PBS I don't have to watch that to know they were soft on him or he was very well rehearsed. I'd love to see a Limbaugh/Obama debate. It'd go PayPerView and I would gladly grab a bucket of popcorn and make a night of it. Unfortunately that won't happen since Obama turned him down (wisely).
