The ads are starting on both sides. Obama and conservatives are squaring off to make each other look like monsters.

First up... 2 ads from the conservatives trying to scare people away from Obamacare (1 for the ladies and 1 for guys):

I don't care about the politics. At this point, I'm just in it for the blood and laughs. It's like watching two guys you despise knocking the spit out of each other.

I wonder how much the "knocking the spit out of each other" is for show, and how much they really just love each other. After all, they're all politicians and regardless of the (R) / (D), they're both attached to the same body.

On one hand you have re-election concerns, which certainly fuel genuine bias and hatred towards each other.. But on the other hand, the true ruling class that wants Obamacare/ACA enacted will have it their way regardless of the fluff the politicians put out.
 
Any time politicians get involved with limiting your choices, you are going to lose.

The Dems like Obamacare.

The Repubs like Medicare.

They are essentially the same thing: lower quality medical care for a higher price. That's how monopolies work.
 
Had our first experience with these changes recently. Our Empire Bluecross plan dropped premiums by approximately $100 per person per month. However, our deductibles and copays skyrocketed. We now have a yearly liability of nearly $6k per year, as opposed to before where we would only have to pay a $20-$150 copay depending on the service that was needed.

In order to offset that bullshit, we had to buy into supplemental insurance at an additional $500 per year, per person.

I'm kinda thinking that this is just the beginning.

A very bad law that would do nothing to stop rising health care cost. The more coverage it provides is just a preclude to govt sanctioned chip implants.

They now have chips that can regulate your health conditions. I hate big govt as they eventually do turn that power against the citizens.

Just think for a moment, how can you have a law that does not penalize people for bad unhealthy behavior? Imagine insurance companies treating all drivers the same, just because the govt said so.

Humans only react positively or negatively to incentives, health care should not be mandated by the govt as it goes against free will.

What about people that get free emergency care? Change the law and people would change their behavior, simple as that.
