I am having problems logging into wordpress thats set up on one of my sites. I am having to log in multiple times in a row to stay logged in and once im in and go to write the login page shows up in the image upload box :? Im stumped, anyone have any ideas to what the problem might be?

no ideas? I think I might just be over working wordpress. Is that possible, to many plugins, to many posts and the script just starts going fucking wacky?

I'd consider reinstalling, especially if it's a fairly new install. If it's an older site and had been working for awhile then just start disabling plugins one by one if you can, its possible one of those is screwing things up.

I installed a fresh version of WP in a different directory under the same domain that is working off a different database and am having the same problem.

nahh, this was happening before the insatallion of the second wp in the other directory, Ive also noticed that when I finally do get logged in, the upload area below the input area in write post/page is stuffed with code "CSS code", but if I scroll down through the code the form for uploading is at the bottom.

Im starting to think someone is fucking with me, amybe some sort of XSS or some shit I dont know? Everyhting else seems fine though.

Hmmm, strange one.
I'd consider disabling all plugins to see if that is the problem. Then, if it works OK, enable the plugins one at a time.

Failing that, a reinstall of Wordpress files should do the trick.

I have login issues too, not like you are describing but I bet that's just going to depend on the theme.

I have trouble staying logged in and shit, I didn't start experiencing this until I installed a few plugins, but I also didn't login to WP much before I started installing the plugins..

heres a screen shot, ive pretty much just learned to live with it

Hmm... could it be the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin if you are using that? It can go a bit haywire sometimes...

Also, a new version of Wordpress is released. 2.0.6 is the latest. Might be worth a try to replace all files with the new version.

Looking at the picture, it doesn't look like a database issue anyway.

Always try disabling all plugins first. If problem disappears, enable them one by one and test it to see which one is causing the problem.
