Thats the only explination I can come up with. I finally found a niche with great traffic, a good template, and now im getting .05 per click today. From what Ive read I have to either pull the site for a week or wait it out. If Smart Pricing is caused by poor quality traffic though, how do we as arbitragers avoid it?

well, it's always guesswork really. How much traffic are you getting? And how many days has it been up. You really can't tell unless you're not getting like above 5-6 cents a click on avg. all of your clicks, for a few days. You just might have a bad day. I've never been smartpriced so far on my sites, and if I do, then I'll just shut them down and make a new one. Don't expect an arbi site to stay open for months (unless you're pushing CPA ads, or getting lucky, lol)

Maybe just a bad day or if you have a lot of ad blocks (3) they could just be clicking on all the shitty paying ones at the bottom.

You girls gotta get over smartpricing, just start churning out more sites till you get enough money that you are satisfied with. This situation isn't going to get better, soon it won't be smartprice it will just be that people are paying that each click. My conclusion

Get over it ;)

If you get smartpriced you can just make more sites and those sites won't be smartpriced? I thought the smartpricing affected your entire account and all of your sites?

Also, Can you really only expect a site to stay open a few months?

Well..getting paid .05 per click from adsense im not making any profit as thats what im bidding. I have about 100 clicks today. Im only using 1 adblock on my pages.

What's your PPC CPC? ctr on your site? possibly a link if you don't mind?
Those would help us.

Well I would rather not give out my URL but my PPC CPC is 0.03, and my CTR is about 25%
I know I need to improve my CTR but thats one area I seem to be having a problem with. I was making just some really basic sites and the CTR was about 12%, then I made this one with really (what I thought was) great ad blending and im still only at 25%.

So you're spending .12 cents, and returning .05...
Throw some money at it... spend at least 10-15 a day for two days and see what happens. The more traffic you get the better, and on one of my campaigns, the EPC didn't go up until I started to throw money at it.
Work on your CTR, you should have 0 leaks (unpaid links.) This is what I do
Banner
Ad (328 x 258 or whatever the f that size is)
Content (200 words or so)
ad (250 x 250 block)
200 more words.
That's grabbing me 70% ctr.

Dude if you have been smart priced there is really nothing you can do, pause the traffic on the arbi aites and work on some affilate landing page or something. It sucks I know Ive been there, but there aint a damn thing you can do about it if you have in fact been smart priced

Yeah, im going to ride it out a bit to get a bigger picture. Although today im getting less than .05 per click :(
I would'nt mind spending $10-15 per day, heck I would love to spend more but I've never found a niche that I could actually burn through that much per day. Are you spending that much per site on the 2nd tiers?

Why do you all use smart pricing in negative way. Is it possible to have smart pricing which increases your CPC from 0.07 to 0.20-0.40 across all sites?

I've been publisher for over 2 and half years, and it happened to me few days ago. It might have something to do with blocking Made for Adsense ads, but I think it's a bit deeper than just that...

You can only filter 200. Sooner or later your gonna run out. Then what?

Well in my case, I've been able to filter all of MFAs apearing on my sites, and it nearly doubled my income.

I've made a site for fighting MFAs (see signature), so it will help you decide which MFAs are no longer threat so you can remove them or replace them with upcoming threats. It's still in beta but we're about to affiliate it with brand new adsense tracker, so you can know EXACTLY on which MFA ad did the user click on..
