WTF is up with people killing children lately? Oh wait, it's not lately, this is something that is always happening.

Nearly 1,500 children are murdered each year in just the USA.

Like my other thread he's posting this it to prove a point. No he doesn't really believe there's a sinister plot by white people to kill children.
 
This is why it should be legal to beat the shit out of screaming kids in restaurants. These people could make minimum wage doing what they love without killing anyone. Plus, well-behaved kids would still be able to hang out in restaurants, but the screaming brats would be too scared to.

I'm mostly joking.

Do the math. That's not even close to an epidemic. It's sad to read about, but that's only a little more than 4 per day in all of the United States (300 million people).

If I'm doing my math right, that's like close to a millionth of one percent of the United States on a daily basis.

We just have a huge demand for news, with all of the News channels and websites. If they can string a few of these stories in a row, then they can make it feel like an epidemic, and then it's good for ratings.

Correct. In case you're not aware, some forum members believe there is a racially motivated violence epidemic of epic proportions currently going on in the US, or is about to start any day now.
 
Yeah, I knew were this was headed too from out in the main STS listings...

So, DocApoc & Hellblazer; either of you got any rational reasoning or better yet data to submit on why the black-on-white violence "trend" can't be easily explained just like this scenario?
