ot: miami nightlife?

Completely off topic but I'm in Miami now at the moment with 10 lads and girls from Ireland and we're trying to find good places to go out. Tried Nikki Beach and Mansion in South Beach for Saturday and Sunday and they're both a load of cock, shocking prices, ages to get in, full of posers and no-one getting drunk.

Anyone any ideas where to go in Miami? Just want a laid back place where no-one takes themselves too seriously. Was thinking some college place or something.

I was in Miami Beach about three weeks ago and it wasn't that fun, because, like you say, everybody was way too stuck up... Key West, just two hours south was way better, people are more friendly and bars are way more fun with cool people. check it out.

Yeah I live in melbourne australia.. i went to sydney for the first time last week and its pretty awesome, the city is full of people even on weeknights, in melbourne the streets would be dead. Schooners are also cheap as fuck, I dont think they even sell pots. Although i did get harrassed going back into the hotel one night by a group of dickheads and a really fat chick.

Have to check out Australia alright, know a load of people working and living over there, they say it's class. The length of the flight puts me off though. Hopefully I'll get over there for their Summer.
