Overstock.com Drops All NY Based Affiliates.

In an attempt to keep from having to charge NY Sales Tax Overstock.com has dropped all of its NY based affiliates (Me being one of them). Please see attached letter.

If many merchants follow this lead, us NY based affiliates could take a beating....or form a company in another state.

My LLC is formed in Delaware, although I do business and have my bank accounts located in my home town of NYC. I wonder if the location of my business registration makes a difference?

Wow, this sucks a ton for the guys in NY. I wonder if some people will abandon ship.

Sorry for you guys in New York, but I'm very glad to see that someone has the sack to do this rather than try to work around/with those cunthairs in Albany, and not suprised that it's Overstock.com

Oh wow... well, sure all merchants won't pull out.. that would be too much money left on the table...

Ive been dropped from about 15 affiliate programs in the last few days between linkshare and CJ for this.
