So far, I'm leaning towards gondor.io , this is for django stuff. Anecdotes plz? I really don't like being a server admin.
 


Well, dotcloud looks great. Hit up their support about using firefox in a worker process (selenium), great detailed response, going to try them out.
 
paas is good for getting something online quickly, but you know in the long run (and when scaling) that carefully planned and deployed vps and dedis are the way to go.

The thing is, setting up servers etc is another thing to procrastinate on, because I hate it. I crunched the numbers, dotcloud is max 3x more expensive than linode for my intended usecase. If that is gonna kill anyone's lifestyle business margins, they're doing it wrong.

It's just outsourcing at the end of the day. We don't all have Philippinos and Lebanese to do our bidding :)
