Page parsing language and excellent breasts

Hi

I want to write a small web application that lists the links on a web site and displays the links and the anchor text in a list.

My question is what would be the best language to do this in?
I have some basic programmings skills but I have not written anything that parses html pages (I've only done database stuff with PHP and mySQL) so I don't know which is the best language for a job like that.

I use PHP with curl and then run it through PHP 5's DOM/XPath feature.

The method is very similar to this: Scraping Links With PHP

Basically:

1. Get HTML (curl)
2. Create DOM object
3. Run XPath query (get anchor tags, get h2 tags, etc)
4. Rinse and repeat

we've got a post in the php function warchest sticky that does exactly what you're asking ... it'll be simple copy/paste stuff then you can just parse out the anchor & link from an array.
