Paranoid About Aff Networks Lead Skimming

Am I the only paranoid one that networks are constantly skimming leads off me?

For example, right now i'm running an offer that's exclusive to just one network, so I can't split test.

Iv'e been promoting this one offer for about 2 months and I have been getting around 60 leads a day through Adwords. Just recently I added AdCenter and Yahoo and expanded my keyword list, my leads went up to around 85 for the first 4 days and mysteriously after that, they were down to ~65 a day.

I'm now in the process of just testing Yahoo and Adcenter w/o google, to see the amount of leads I get. I'll keep you guys updated. Hopefully i'm overly paranoid

I am fairly sure that skimming is part of life. I have some campaigns I have been running for a couple of years, and can almost say which day the skim throttle is turned up. I used to say that Tuesdays were such awesome days for me, that must have been the skim guy's day off.

On the other hand, I am sure we all send 10 - 20 percent bogus leads despite our best efforts.

So, some companies do chargebacks, and others skim. Oh well.

So I don't worry about it, but just see if over a month I am making a good profit and getting a good return on my efforts.
