Parking with autocontent vs minisites? What's the difference?

What is the difference is (there a difference) between hand building minisites versus using one of the parking services that can be set up to build out content by article scraping and can also be customized with affiliate links and my own content? These sites are updated with content on a regular basis and come pre-set up with adsense and shopping.

The sites have their obvious limitations such as limited customization abilities but they take about 5 minutes to set up and don't look anything like a standard parking or mfa site. Mine have 4 preset pages and the keywords I select determine the content which I can then delete or change, plus a shopping page. I can add as many additional pages as I want with my own content including articles, affiliate links or shopping pages.

The sites are getting indexed and starting to see some search engine traffic. Still not much traffic (or revenue) but it is growing.

I am wondering if there is any difference between these sites and a regular one-off mini-site. Does it matter that the DNS is a parking service?

To me, they look more like useful websites than many of the MFA sites I come across.

Any thoughts or expereinces with this? It seems like a good idea to me, but I wonder if I am missing something obvious.

I'm currently parking domains with doaminzaar, which is ok, but not great either. I think it really doesn't matter, either way you are scraping news feeds so you might aswell just get on with it. If your selling your domains want to spend less time building sites and more time developing. I guess it all depends on what you want to do, park the site, provide valuable info and earn from ads, or park to sell later on???

Yes, if the DNS is a parking service there is a slim to none chance that you will get ranked in Google.

However, even if you have a shitty mini site you can get well ranked for low competition keywords with very little content. If it is a popular term or high competition with advertisers you will need a little more than a shitty mini site to rank well.

slap an autoblog on it. I have some invites to the latest greatest. hit me up if u want one.

Assuming your name/s are valuable
It depends on the number of type-ins you get..

more type ins => domain parking
no type ins => mini site

why?

domain parking are pure ads, usually high CTR 20%-60%
mini sites aren't as many ads, and also riskier, you need more traffic as your CTR will be lower.
