Part number/produc name as a exact match domain

Anyone know what the legality is of a 'general part number' used as a exact match domain?

Example, if I would like to put a guide on DVD players from Panasonic together, I could name it DMP-BDT-DVDplayers.com Or for Sony: DVPDVDPlayers.com

Did some searching but have not come up with a 'good' answer yet.

Thoughts?
 


That's the thing that has me wondering... people use ipad in their domain names ipadguide.com etc. etc.

And you would not be using the 'actual' part number PanasonicDVP-812 but DVP-DVDPlayers, only the front designation.... and have dropped the 'company' name.
