A few of my affiliate sites generate tons of really valuable traffic. This is organic traffic, but if I was buying it through Adwords just one of the sites would cost me several thousand dollars a day.

Due to the focused search terms they are coming in on, I'm guessing why they are not completing the purchases --> many are probably picking up the phone to talk to the merchants.

Have any of you tried using a call center to guide people through the purchases? ...or just make the purchase for them over the phone.

These sites are all consumer products - no rebill stuff.

If any of you have faced this issue and found a solution you would rather not make public - PM me. I'll send $1000 to anyone that can help me get to 1% conversion rates.

yea its a commission leak. The really good merchant based programs can actually credit the affiliate back to the sale even over the phone, but most CPA offers don't.

i bet you are getting tons of pms

everyone else take note, this is how you get help and make more money. everyday he doesn't get this improved he loses out big

Many networks ask for #s to be taken off the pages. If they still exist on the page, especially for rebills, it is for the banks to be happy. it doesn't hurt to ask the network if you will get credit on the calls. Also, many cust service calls don't accept orders. It varies from network to network.

We've got a call center that does general support for our crap, but they'll also guide the extra-stupid through the ordering process.

Your best bet is to get a call center in the lower part of South America. They're cheap, generally speak decent English and most Americans are used to latino accents nowadays, and the added bonus of speaking Spanish (even in Brazil, where you'll find most of these places) to capture more of your market. Not to mention, they're on roughly the same time zone.

Realistically, you could setup an account with an answering service for as cheap as $50 bucks a month or less.

They'll screen your calls, and place customers orders for them through your affiliate link.

You'd want to talk with your merchant about this as they'll have a large volume of orders coming from the same IP Addresses.

I saw something on CJ the other day about getting commissions from people calling in.

I really think we are all missing out on this and do wish offers would include a ph# that we can use to complete the sale.

Those single offer sites/landers have options. My sites are all niche sites each with many products and more than 1 merchant. I doubt the Home Depot size sites would be willing to remove their phone number for me.

In this situation the best bet is to guide those customers through the order process. Get a 1800 no., hire a call center and you may offer some freebies/ebooks as incentives to customers for completing the purchase online. CR will improve too.

You may be surprised actually...Anyhow, If they don't take the # off where orders can be taken, ask for more $$.
