pitching my boss to pay for my trip to ASW

I work half-time for a company that recently started an affiliate program. I'm hoping to have them send me to ASW. Or at least pay half the cost. I'll still just be going just for me if they won't cover it.

So, any good bullet points on why they should pony up a grand or two to send me to Vegas?

ASW is going to have more "real' affiliates then any other conference the whole year. If you have a new affiliate program you'll have some great opportunities to get unbiased feedback on your affiliate program and/or find affiliates to run it.

Meeting affiliates in person can be a great way to get your program off the ground and it can save your company time & money in the long run if their willing to front just a portion of your expenses to really make a solid investment in their aff program.
