The film is a favorite of mine. Here's a bit of "Plan Nine" trivia: The flying saucers in the invasion scene were flaming paper plates.

Bela Lugosi died halfway into the filming, and was replaced by a chiropractor-actor.

The director won the prestigious Golden Turkey Award for the film.
