Playstation Hacked!



really shocking to see how easy a skilled group of hackers/crackers/whateveryoucallit can gain around 75Mio(!!!) account data, even excluding the kids without a creditcard this is a shocking number of potential scammed people...
 
Its sony's fault that so much account info got stolen. I can't believe such a big company doesn't know how to deal with DDOSers or hackers. I mean come on, everyone knows not to store credit card numbers in plain text.

I have my COD installed on my computer and I'm playing people in private servers and its free. So if your having a COD withdrawals, get yourself a copy for your PC and play on non-Sony Playstation network. BTW, you have to get use to using the keyboard otherwise you will get spanked.
 
Should I be panicing.gif if credit card information was on ps3 (netflix only).

Yea you should. PSN sent a mail to all members the other day saying that they are doing something about it and yada yada yada. They also said that if you paired your cc to the account, you need to contact their bureaus which they have set up in the US.

Check your mail. You should have a long ass explanation from them.

I LoLed when they mentioned that they were hiring an external firm to investigate the matter. I bet it has something to do with that George dude who jailbroke the iPhone and the PS3 itself.
