Wow, was that on the Howard Franklin?

NM, found the story. Horrible.

This happened in my area not too long ago, but it turned out it wasnt alcohol, but an elderly person who got confused and got on the interstate going the wrong way.

I have heard driving in the left lane is the most dangerous because drunks do try to be careful, so they attempt to drive in the right lane, which is of course the left lane going the wrong way. I always drive in the right lane at night just to be safe.

Just a couple weeks ago I had someone do the same thing on a 3 lane road near me. They were going really slow so I would assume it was a confused old person, pretty scary either way.

A man in an SUV driving on the wrong side of the interstate hit a friend of mine and his 3 buddies, head on.
What a waste - so sorry to hear this. And at 2am there's not much else to conclude except that the driver was wasted.

Same thing happened to me but, I was also drunk. Driving home after a night at the club pretty wasted as usual, saw a car coming at me on the highway. I swerved at the last minute, felt the left side of the car lift up off its wheels, thankfully there wasn't another car in the next lane.

I thought for sure I would have seen something on the news the next day about that driver getting in a wreck and killing somebody. It did occur to me the next day I almost died that night but, I carried on as usual going to the club 3-4 times a week getting wasted.

Just to be clear, I don't drive drunk anymore, stopped after my second dwi. Though I never got in a wreck drunk well actually there was the time I was driving drunk to the strip club made a left at a green light (wasn't an arrow) got in a fender bender with a taxi but, the taxi driver tried to beef up his insurance claim so my insurance co denied it, even though I told them it was my fault and everything.

Haven't really ever gotten in a wreck since I've been driving I'm 30+ now except for minor fender benders. I now regularly drive 90-100 mph (sober) I guess my luck will run out sometime but, so far all good except for a couple traffic tickets. Now that I think about it, I probably drove more carefully drunk than sober. Not that I'm saying you should, or that I would anymore.

Sorry about this man, fucking horrible

The ratio goes higher when you are intoxicated in any situation, driving, arguments, clubbing, misunderstanding, road rage etc etc. Lot of problems happen when you are drunk.

Sorry to hear about this. I get more and more freaked out by driving as I get older. The sad truth is that, regardless of how careful you are on the road, you can't control others.
