Hm.. today I have had 15 clicks and 0 leads from the same IP which has cost me an extra $30. I'm sure this is not someone 'shopping around', it's one of my competitors.

How do I go about reporting this to YSM, and info do I need to include

OMG thanks

it may be an ad on someones site and they want some revenue so they went the stupid way about it.

No
You couldn't whine to Yahoo about the $30 loss enough to get anything "investigated" for click fraud.
Content Match
Or Just search?
Block the domain if its coming from a content match site.

You could complain to YSM but the most they have ever given me is "courtesy" credits for fractions of the actual click fraud cost.

Not much you can do.

Its probably the network you are promoting. They like to burn the small guys PPC budgets

Yes they make money when you make money.
BUT - They also make way more money promoting offers in-house.

Yeah, its more of they click around just to see what offers people are promoting and contact you if you arn't promoting theirs

I'm spending 1k a day with YSM.

On that scale, $30 shouldn't matter unless it keeps happening. If they stop clicking, it would probably be worth your time to file it under "cost of doing business" and move on.

Did you do a reverse IP check to see who owns the domain? If it's AOL, then these things are pretty normal and most likely not the same person.
