Anybody know what the norm is for managing somebody's ppc campaign?

Obviously the infinitrons are charging more but I was wondering if anybody here does/used to do it and around what they charged.

Thanks!

depends on what vertical you will be hitting to the best of my knowledge. Ecommerce verticals should be significantly lower then something like edu which is going to be time and money intensive for the agency to manage.

I charge 15% of total ad spend at the end of every month + initial setup fee approx $300 (varies) + a monthly fee approx $100 per month. It varies though depending on how big the customer (business) and their ad spend. If they are small I will just charge a smaller setup and the 15% per month.

Thanks!

serious question now, are these campaigns mainly business branding and lead-gen type deals? Would it be safe to assume that no one in their right minds would have their CPA campaigns managed externally?

Haha, nah not my campaigns. My cousins are all lawyers and fairly useless when it comes to the internet. Was just wondering what kind of range people were charging. They might be family but nobody ever got ahead giving away their shit for free!

Yea, that's what I figured, I was just curious whether there were individuals out there that actually outsourced the management of their CPA campaigns.

10-15%. By the way, can be an easy & lucrative niche for affiliates with ppc experience. I might be getting a client that wants to spend a mil over the next 12 months on a new site. :)

Very intriguing. I presume the tracking/optimization will be a hell of a lot easier than with CPA offers, since the margins for these business are generally much higher (ie. one client can be worth x,xxx+). Sounds like a stable and lucrative field.
