Please help me clarify this situation.

Say that I buy a mortgage related domain(s) and find CPL lead offer in one of the networks. I want to drive traffic via PPC to the page/form. So I buy some keywords, can I associate my url to the creative so when a user/prospect clicks the text ad they are brought immediately to the landing page. No other content on page, just there full page lead form offer with my different URL.

Is this common?

Thanks for the help

Sounds like you are trying to direct linking, or iframe your deal into your domain. This way is fine, but there is no pre-sale. Your landing page should act as a pre-sell to whatever your pushing.

Ok so what you are saying is that the user clicks the text ad which redirects him to my URL with some custom, relatible content that 'pre-sells' the user. Should the offer, typically, be iframed underneith/next to the content, or should there be another action that brings them a new page/offer/lead form? Or is that a matter of testing like everything in marketing?

Thanks again for the responses.

Also in your experience do you see a signifgant dropoff it there is an additional action to the offer page? I would think that with PPC that people have short attention spans...and you want to get them to dump their info as soon as possible...no?
