What do you think is better and what will do best for you?
If you choose revenue sharing what is aprox. time your client will stay with site you're affiliated with?

regards

Also, you might want to ask if anyone's split tested the specific program and offer to sign up under them if they give you the information you need.

well I think most people will buy trial access on which I get real $$ too but if I choose to ad revenue sharing and trial user doesn't go for more than few days then I will be earning very little (read: 0)

So I would like to ask if anyone really pays to adult site for long-terms?

take care

to answer your question, yes they do
mix it up rev share + PPS

They definitely stay with sites for long periods. Look at how the site owner makes some of his money, (besides upsells). In a pps model, they pay the affiliate basically the whole first months worth of revenue. (usually about $25 to $35). The site owner is counting on his members area being good enough to at least retain that customer for another month. (Or the customer just doesn't realize he's going to be re-billed).

With rev-share, it's typically newer sites or sites in a specific niche that work well. Solo girl sites and really weird niches tend to do well on rev-share whereas a "big tit" site may not.

The best way is to do a split test yourself, (if they offer both).

I typically use pps because I want my money up front and dont' like being seeing sales disapper if the customer does a charge back.

People fall in love with the girls on the solo sites and have to keep their memberships so they can stalk them.

On other sites, if you like one of the girls in the samples, you might sign up for a trial membership and download all the videos, but there's usually only one video of that particular girl and you never see her again. In fact, you usually get stuck watching the same GUY hunt all these girls down and take them back to his house to bang them. You watch him fuck so many girls that you get to know every inch of his body and you start to feel gay. Then you realize it's only been 2 days so you cancel your trial membership on the spot and the affiliate who sent you there ends up making 20% of $2.99 which comes out to roughly 60 cents.

I'd choose revshare..

I still get checks from adult companies, and I haven't done that shit since 2002/03!

Well I think the best way will be if I add "Buy 3 Days Trial Access - $4.25" and direct this to pps link and add links for longerterms and direct them to rev-share aff link..

It's really the best way to test it out, I only wanted to know if anyone has already tested this two options out..

Take care

It really depends on the sites...as someone said, solo girl sites have good retention rates.
Random porn stuff not so much.
I only have 3 sponsors that actually have great retention rates. The rest I go for PPS.
There is too much free porn on the net already.

Residual income is very nice too though. You could work your ass off for 6 months all on revshare then not life a finger for the next 6 and still make money. (Although it would decline as rebills slowed without new customers, it would still pay.)

Great if you want to take 6 months off and travel the world or just sit on your couch masterbating.

Depends on retention really.

Danny hit it right on the head! If the retention is good, I would for sure go rev-share.

When I managed a well known program for a couple of years, we saw that the webmasters that did rev-share were making more bank than those who followed the PPS model.

In the end it will come down to the program itself.
