Preferred software for ripping my DVD collection

I want to consolidate my DVDs to digital, any recommendations software wise?

I normally use a Mac, but, I have used DVD Decrypter and DVDshrink on a PC.

DVDFab works really great. Haven't come across a DVD yet that it wouldn't rip. You can also save to almost any format (DVD, psp, Nintendo DS, iphone, zune, xbox 360, etc)

Really easy to use too.

always had success with Shrink by itself.

I've been wondering about this as well. I have a hangup about plopping movie discs into my CD-ROM, I'm afraid it will burn out the laser over repeated use (I always have movies running as I work)... right now I have Direct TV going right into one of my PC's at work. BUT, I would love to be able to rip hundreds of DVDs so I can simply run them on the PC without using the CD-ROM. Will DVDFab do this? Where is it for sale?Or, what is the best program to do this?

The mobile version rips a DVD to < 2GB.
