PrivateLabeling - How did you get started?

Sup guys, so been in the tangible product game for a couple years off and on, progressed more seriously into it in november/december, and now I am beginning to take the research steps to launch my own product line (single product with variations).

I have a manufacturer, and on ebay this particular product as a generic is fetching just under 400%, so I'd like to consider branding and getting ranked myself, then later down the road pursue some related stores to get the line in.

What kind of costs am I looking at just for the initial start up besides product/web costs? Would love to hear from people experienced on this topic and possible skype chat as well.

I'd actually love to talk about this with you. I haven't moved to my own branding yet, but I also have a product that sounds very similar to this. I am also selling it on ebay for about 400% ROI as a generic. Branded companies are selling it for 4-5x more and I'm looking to build a brand around it myself.
