Profile Backlinks

Just a quick question regarding profile backlinks.
Once you create those profiles , do you leave them there and not do anything with them?
Or does interacting everyday on those sites proves a better option?

As far as I can tell profile backlinks are not worth the time taken to make them.
 
A few guest posts on related sites with do far more than thousands of profile links.
 
Use these links to link your other links that link to your main resource links.
 
Ok, sorry that was confusing.

Teo: I love to use profile links that link to my other tier 1 links that point to my "money site". Typically they will in this case be referred to as "Tier 2" links.

I still do think there is value in these links, just not directly pointing at your money site. If you do decide to directly link to your money site, do not just stop with profile links. Link from various different platforms and you should be good!

Ok thanks for the tip.
So for example if i had a backlink on ezinearticles , my profile link would be pointing to that specific article am i right?
