Prosper202 1.6 beta is now available for download. This is not an official release yet, we are awaiting feedback to make sure all of the new features work correctly for the early adopters. If you want to experiment with the new Prosper202 1.6 release you may find it here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.tracking202.com/downloads/prosper202_1.6_beta1.zip. Below are a few of the changes you will find in the new release.

  • Redirect speed has been dramatically improved.(if you were concerned about using p202 with ppv or a media buy, give it another shot. If it's slow it's probably your web-host, we only recommend VPS' or Dedicated servers)
  • Reporting is slightly faster
  • Stats202 w/ LinkTrust integrations fixed (requires you to re-enter your account information)
  • New resources section
  • New alert system for critical announcements
  • Meetup202 events are now listed in the news tab
  • Tracking202 twitter feed now integrated
  • New community support and feedback widget installed
  • Fixed advanced landing page problem on overview page
  • Fixed duplicate (c1-c5) errors from popping up
  • Keywords max limit is now 255 characters long
  • New Traffic Source Icons Additions (overview & spy view icons)

in like 2-3 days, I just want to make sure the new one is bug-free. But if you could try the new one that'd be of great help. The redirects alone are worth the improvement
 
Sounds awesome Wes! As a recent user of Prosper can I ask if there is an 'easy' way to upgrade?

Sorry we still don't have an auto-update feature. Although it's pretty simple to upgrade. All you have to do is upload the new files over the old files.

No worries and don't apologize, you guys are doing great work!

I was just wondering if all the current campaigns and that set up would remain, I am presuming it's a case of leaving a few settings files or something somewhere.

Yah all of the campaigns and data remains the same. You won't lose any data
 
Did you include conv3rsion's changes on github to use a configurable login URL? Thanks for the free software!
 
Last time, i had a hard time installing prosper on my server. However, your tool rocks. I am already seeing some of the products in IM industry, which do same stuff but charge 4 figures.

I used some of the updates conv3rsion put on there. But no I didn't get that one yet, I'll put that one in the official release.

Has anyone had a chance to try it out?
 
i upgraded. everything seems to be working alright. ill be doing some new campaigns in a couple of hours I'll let you know how it goes.
