Hey everyone,

I've checked all the other threads about proxies, but still not sure what is the best solution for this....

I've created a web scraper (a lot like affportal or affexpert but with more features for myself that they haven't made).

But I need recommendations on proxies services to use so I can rotate my queries between them and not get my IPs banned by the search engines.

I'm looking for about 1000 reliable and fast proxies.

Or could I do this by buying a bunch of IPs through a hosting company? I'm a little lost on what is the best approach.

Packetflip or Proxybonanza.

1000 proxies eh? I haven't pounded an engine hard enough to know, but can't you hit them pretty hard per IP? I don't know if you'll need as many as you think you do...

Safety first though! Good luck, those proxy services are pretty cool, you can upgrade your account through the control panel so just start with 50 or so and move up. Proxybonanza's shared proxies work pretty well and are affordable, but the bandwidth might not be enough if you're doing a shit ton of scraping.

I have scraped public lists of proxies and the success rate is very low (like 5%). Also, there are a lot of redundent proxies across public proxy sites. Also, I was surprised to know that there are not that many new proxies that go up everyday. However, I think you can probably contract with someone to get a list of proxies privately. If anyone here knows someone please PM me
