Anyone here been following the ps3 on eBay? I just bought two of 'em, one for $750, and one for $625. Some articals say sony will ship more to the us before christmas, some articals say it's not gonna happen. Anyway, if sony doesn't ship anymore, prices on ebay are expected to spike back up right before christmas. It's kinda like playing the stock market. What are your thoughts?

i heard something about a bunch getting returned. xplay also gave the games some horrible reviews. Kinda hilarious.

My thoughts, the impatient fuckers got raped! Those who paid the premium, that is.

Is the system alright?

That makes zero sense.

When the SNES was released were video games evenly remotely close to music and movie sales? The answer is no.

Video games now a days are a $11+ billion dollar market

I was making the point that there is too much hype regarding video game systems. I am already aware that they are a multibillion dollar industry.

100,000 units before christmas would be great. That would cause the prices to spike on ebay right before xmas. 100k isn't really that many units, if they shipped 400k that would be a problem..

I hope sales fall flat. I'm sick to death of all this. Atleast there wont be any new systems for 4 more years. Thank god

Has anyone Ebayed an empty PS3 box, or a JPG of a PS3 like they did in the past with older consoles on release? Some clever seller even fooled some eBayer into paying for an email with xbox in for lots of money rather than an actual xbox 360.

Yeah well good luck with that one. It won't get back to were it was in the first week of launch. Although your chances of turning a higher profit will most likely be closer to christmas.
