Anyone here been following the ps3 on eBay? I just bought two of 'em, one for $750, and one for $625. Some articals say sony will ship more to the us before christmas, some articals say it's not gonna happen. Anyway, if sony doesn't ship anymore, prices on ebay are expected to spike back up right before christmas. It's kinda like playing the stock market. What are your thoughts?

I was making the point that there is too much hype regarding video game systems. I am already aware that they are a multibillion dollar industry.
And to be fair, I'd take a game of Mario Kart over Grand Theft Auto 79 (The Buttocks) any day of the week.
FIY, this might be bullshit though. I read a news release that sony will release 100,000 a week till christmas. They were available at BB over the weekend, i know that for a fact!
100,000 units before christmas would be great. That would cause the prices to spike on ebay right before xmas. 100k isn't really that many units, if they shipped 400k that would be a problem..
I hope sales fall flat. I'm sick to death of all this. Atleast there wont be any new systems for 4 more years. Thank god
Has anyone Ebayed an empty PS3 box, or a JPG of a PS3 like they did in the past with older consoles on release? Some clever seller even fooled some eBayer into paying for an email with xbox in for lots of money rather than an actual xbox 360.
