Question about Google Ranking

I have a deep link page of a my website that is ranked #139

I submitted this deep link page to around 200 web directories.

The number 1 term on the page has about 23 yahoo backlinks.

My page has 1 recognized back link from yahoo.

My question is there anything else I need to do to the page? Should I wait for more of the backslinks to be recognized and counted?

Well, get backlinks is not all, you have to make a SEF (Search engine friendly) work in your website, here are some tricks:

1)The code of your site must be clean, if you don't know about HTML and all that stuff, you should download template with valid X-HTML, I use freecssstemplates.org to download that kind of templates.

2)Don't repeat the same keywords in all the pages, try to be especifically in each description in each page of the site.

3)Use sitemaps dude!, generate them free in freesitemapgenerator.com

There are a whole lot of factors that go into the way a page ranks in each of the SEs. Most of those factors are unknown - even if someone tells you they "know".

However, the more links the better. That has held true forever. Get on the waiting list for WeaSLE and use that to promote your site: you'll start to see more of those backlinks showing up....
