I am deciding on buying a domain from godaddy and wanted to know which is better to develop my site- DW or joomla?

I know a friend who makes use of joomla but whenever he uploads the stuff on the content, it is not browser compatible. So does this mean that I should stick with DW?

Joomla is a content management system. Dreamweaver is software for editing code.

Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, and plenty others - give you the ability to dynamically add/remove/edit pages, links, and navigation without editing any HTML (although you can if you want).

Dreamweaver is more of a piece of software to edit code. You can use it as a WYSIWYG editor, but more of a pain in the ass than anything.

I recommend using Joomla or any other CMS.
