Hello,

Suppose you paid $100 for a product with PayPal. The money was taken directly from your credit card.

  1. If the merchant issues you a refund, will the money be credited to your PayPal account balance or to your credit card?
  2. Will you receive the full $100 or will they take a transaction fee with it?

no fees and refunded to payment source.
also, if it's virtual goods the buyer will most likely win *any* dispute

good pointer there - I am surprised how many people in our weird little world have no idea how Paypal handles their Virtual Services transaction disputes. As to date, they will not honor any virtual service transaction including buying twitter followers / fb fans / youtube views, etc. (any social service) - also things such as buying a domain name from somebody online without using a 3rd party - you would be surprised how easy it is to ride the VST wave of Paypal & win 100% of the disputes opened against you... so it is imperative that everyone polish up on the details in these kinds of policies :338:
