Question about PPV traffic

Simple question (or maybe not) - if advertisers on a PPV network are bidding on a target, which also happens to be the target for the offer I'm promoting after a user clicks through my landing page, can an advertiser's ad or LP still pop or no?

I'm trying to see why my conversion rate is so low and I'm just wondering if perhaps other ads are popping up once users click through to the offer page, which could be distracting them.

The target is pretty expensive and somewhat competitive and the bid needed to be ranked first for it is about 40 cents/impression.

Thanks guys.

How you could be profitable at .4 per impression, it's $400 CPM, even if it's 0.04 it still crazy expensive. Do adwords at this rate then LOL

Are you bidding on the same target in PPV? Or are you pushing say, PPC traffic to your LP and then wondering if they can popup on the advertisers LP after they click through on your LP? Then the answer would be, yes.

Yeah, but I'm not the one bidding on the target that is .40/impression. Like I said, the target is where my conversion occurs and I'm wondering if ANOTHER advertiser can pop their LP after a user has clicked through to it from my landing page.

No I'm not, it wouldn't make sense if I did. Ok, but no I am pushing PPV to my LP and then wondering if they can popup on the advertiser's page after clicking through from my LP.
