I've been reading some articles on Problogger.net. There's a recent article titled "10 Ways to Make Your Blog More Attractive to Advertisers." One of the ways he mentions is not to use adsense, because advertisers see it as unprofessional.

He got some flack from the comments, especially since there are Google ads on the blog.

At any rate, I've been reading a ton of great things on this forum, especially on Jon's Super Affiliate's blog on how to make money using Adsense. I'm not discouraged by Problogger's post. I just see it as another opinion from his own personal experience.

My question is- is there any truth to this? Meaning, if after your blog becomes successful and you wish to partner with a certain segment of advertiser, should you stop using Adsense because a certain part of the industry deems it to be unprofessional?

I wouldn't think so. I'd want to keep doing whatever is making me money. And I think if this were really true, then I'd see a lot less ads in popular magazines, instead of after almost every page.

Just wondered what others might think. Thanks.

He is talking about blogs that attract a regular readership.

Wickedfire adsense earners are usually talking about arbitrage

I don't think there's any truth at all to it. If you have intense traffic, niche authority and rank well for a blog .. hell anyone will want to advertise on it Adsense or not.

well
theres a bit of truth to it
but i wouldnt take it to heart really
as long as you keep your ads non intrusive and your site pretty in general
but thats my personal preference anyways
