Question about snagging a domain

Alright, so I've been trying to come up with a name for a site idea I have and after going through tons of names, I found one. The domain is going to be released on the 22nd of this month. It doesn't seem like a name that people would be clamoring over, so I'm wondering if I should wait until it's released on that day or go through a 'back ordering service'.

Anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.

It depends if you can live with not getting it. If not, you need to book it with a dropcatching service.

My view is that if you are keen on the name it's better to be safe than sorry, the minimum bid level for dropcatching services is not that high, around $59, I use snapnames.com and namejet.com.

The best dropcatcher depends on where it is registered. Find the registar with a first drop deal with that catcher. That is your best bet not paying real money.
