Here's a topic that I'd like to hear some more experienced opinions on. I talked about my payday loan offer in an earlier thread. I was on copeac trying to pick out a payday offer, they have quite a few to choose from.
Unfortunately, you can't see the EPC for specific offers on Copeac. So I'm looking at payday leads that pay anywhere from $7 up to around $20.
After looking closely at all of the offers, I didn't see a whole lot of difference between the $7 payout sign up form and the $20 sign up. They both ask for a shit load of info, account #'s, SS#'s, ect.
So, naturally I went with the $20 offer. I talked with my AM and she sent me a list of the top converting PPC offers, and the $7 sign up form was on there.
So, it looks like they convert a higher %, and therefore payout less per lead. I can't figure out why in the hell they'd convert better though. Both companies have legitimate sounding domain names. They ask for the same info. Both sites are decent looking from a design point of view. What factors could I be missing here?
I'm not going to ask "which one should I pick" because that's obviously something only I can figure out through testing. But I would love to hear any advice on choosing one similar offer over the other, especially as far as different payouts, conversion rates, and other factors such as the complexity of the form are concerned.
