Quite Possibly The WORST Golf "innovation"

Browsing kickstarter, I happened upon some foreign wackjob that wants people to throw out their bag full of golf clubs and go with something called the drutter. It's a slingshot that you shoot the golf ball down the greenway with. I can't imagine any reputable golf course would allow golfers to walk on their fairways with this device, but I also don't expect him to meet his kickstarter goal either.

I would like to introduce you to the revolutionary Drutter golf club. The name Drutter is derived from a combination of the words driver & putter - it is my patent-pending invention. It consists of an telescopic shaft which has a slingshot(surprise!) attached to its top to propel a golf ball from tees and fairways to the green. So just the one slingshot performs the function of such traditional clubs as woods, drivers, irons and wedges.

Once on or near the green, a putterhead attached to the bottom of the Drutter shaft (see picture inset, left) is used to putt the ball towards the hole.

The only reason it met it's $2,000 goal is because of these retarded Mythical monday morons (video below) which is some cult youtube channel following. 99.9% of all donations came directly from them and stopped as soon as the $2,000 goal was reached. The crazy part of all of this, is that he's charging close to $200 if you want a full run production of this piece of crap, which realistically costs $20-40 in parts (pvc pipe, slingshot) and labor to assemble.
