He already answered two of my questions.

"Is SEO Dead?"

and

"Do you think blackhat will die, given the fact that Google uses links which is out of their control?"

lol.. he pretty much said blackhat will be here forever and he learns from blackhatter.

LMFAO, It ended on Hobbster's question:

"TrickleCheddar: Do you suspect there is any validity or efficacy in praying for better rankings?"

#SEP, Rand said 'definitely one of the most fascinating questions he's read or some shit" then ended the chat.

He also answered my question:

"Rand, does it require a chisel and a mallet to wash your hair at night?"

He chuckled, patted the top of his crusty ass head, and said "nooo my hair is thuper thoft."

Fun times.

5 Things You Didn't Know About Rand:
OK, I already share way too much, but here I go with a few more...

  1. I'm Jewish... well not the religious kind of Jew, but I do my best to call the grandparents on Rosh Hashanah, Passover, Yom Kippur (and if I'm a particuarly good grandson, Sukkot, too). However, I love Christmas, so Mystery Guest and I have a beautiful tree with a Star of David on top (oh so multicultural!)

Code:
<meta name=”GooglePray” content=”Google, please rate me high by keyword Matt Cutts”>

That was a legitamet question. Even Matt Cutts talks about using prayer in meta tags

He probably wouldn't have as many people eating out of his hand if he validated that blackhat will work, so he puts his white hat spin on it and charges consulting money for his thoughts.

I would've asked if the iron sheik wanted his mustache back though... wtf is that thing under his nose.

Moz (and Rand by extension), do not care about ranking. Helping you rank your sites better is not part of their business model.

Does the guy selling picks and shovels to gold miners care if you find gold, or just that you keep looking?
