The amount of times Letterman said "I don't know" only proves how much of a dumb shit he is. Yeah let's pay teachers $168,000 a year and "just throw more money at it" and that will magically fix the schools.

The only reason celebrities like him are all A-OK with higher tax rates is because they're already filthy fucking rich and it just reflects better on their public status.

Doesn't that just infuriate you.

I think Rand did a very good job. Unfortunately he's so calm he doesn't speak up and finish his points before Letterman tells him, "I just, just doesn't know. That doesn't add up."

Rand did well enough.
He shouldn't have even gone on Letterfag.
Plenty of shows for him to promote his book.

"Show me a young Conservative and I'll show you someone with no heart. Show me an old Liberal and I'll show you someone with no brains."
Winston S. Churchill

Letterman sounded like a little child saying "i just don't know what it is, but i don't agree with that/this guy." what a fuckin' chump, could you imagine those 2 in a neutral debate ha...

If he ever had to actually work for his money and worry about running a business he wouldn't have said i dunno so many times.

Letterman probably wouldn't have acted the same if political parties and groups didn't exist. The actions and words of Cheney, Palin, Beck and such had already created a prejudice towards Paul before he even walked out on the stage. So that even if he was polite and logical, Letterman was thinking "wait a minute, he's one of THEM, he can't be right."

right, which makes him no better than those you referenced.

i dont really care too much about the politics, the guy isn't remotely funny. I don't understand how he got a talk show. I see his clips from time tto time and it bugs the hell out of me how the crowd just bursts into laughter when he cracks a joke which I'm sure will barely break a smile on a lot of people.

Either the laughs are fake [lame]
or worse they are prompted to laugh [super lame]

You have a point

and to be honest this is one of the first times I've ever watched Rand Paul sit down and express his views for longer than 30 seconds. I'm probably not alone

I think eventually he will shine through

best part was when Paul said "the thing most people don't realize... including you and the people clapping at what you just said........"
