Ok this is a random post but I was wondering what kind of things get's peoples attention and what you've seen and though, Ok that is random but I'd do it!

The other day, in my friends college, there is a group of girls and they are basically setting up their own like "stripping" experience

No touching, no sex etc etc

Just lapdancing for like 20 bucks for 15 minutes

They even have a security beeper if something goes's out of hand, but it's never been used. Apparently, it's just a massive remote controlled beeper that scares the shit out of someone but no one is really there

It's funny, coz it's real popular

Now they are trying to think of novel ways to make it - less sleazy and more "fun" - I'm looking forward to seeing what the idea is ;p

Anyone come across any ideas? I love hearing shit like this - I'm down for SEX SELLS, and the way it's used in different ways

For example - Hooters

Or I remember there is some company, where they sell coffee in the morning, and it's basically chicks in bikini's - somewhere in Atlanta I think - can't remember
 


My sophomore year in college i had this really great idea for a junior project to do the next year so i wrote up the schematics and stuff for it and saved it. It was a frisbee like vacuum cleaner that would sense walls/obstacles/drops and go in a pattern to find areas it didn't vacuum and return to its base when it was done and work on a timer. I was so proud of my idea and design until the next year when i saw an infomercial for it and found out they already existed for like 3-4 years and just started getting put on the market. :(

Haha that's pretty cool - I can picture that. Never heard of them before but I hate that feeling, when you think of something and you think it's real cool then you find out it's already done! Doh!

Kind of like when you think of a real cooooool domain, search it and it's already taken ;p

If you've never heard of them they've actually gotten even better over the years and do some amazing shit. I really need one

Ah they do clean, my my bad - I could seriously do with this. Just got myself my own apartment - I'm not cleaning that shit myself ;p

I need the good one - you recommend any specific model?
 
i have never actually tried one. Saw one in action but never owned it. There's really only a couple brands and the models go by the features so I wouldn't imagine it'd be hard to find one that'll do everything you need. The only big difference between them is their ability to wash floors, vacuum carpet or be able to do both. The more expensive models know where they have been so they can make sure to get all the areas. The cheaper models kinda work like that old windows 95 screensaver where they bounce around randomly with the assumption that they'll eventually get everything.

Yea, bong hits and great ideas went together like peanut butter and hookers while in college. I've got to watch more than a few ideas commercialize without me.
