He died this morning.. or about 4-5 hours before the time of this post. :(

I know I've seen his "Last Lecture" posted here a few times before, so many of you have heard of him and were hopefully inspired by him.

I won't even begin to try and write something up, because you just need to see the content that exists for this guy. Its quite possibly the most powerful type of motivational and just awe inspiring stuff I've ever read and watched from one person.

I live by this quote of his:

"If I had 3 words of advice to give, they would be: TELL THE TRUTH. If I had 3 more to go with it, they would be: ALL THE TIME"

I never get teary eyed or emotional about anything (aside for my dog being hurt) but wow, after watching some of the videos on the link below, I was closer to bawling than ever before. I don't think you can't get teary eyed from this guy's stuff. The best part, is that he didn't do any of this for cash, religion, politics or anything aside for himself, his children, his wife and his passion for inspiring people and motivating them.

Sorry Tony Robinson, but you are an epic fail compared to this guy.

Yea, I remember watching his videos a couple of months ago.

RIP Randy Pausch.

That's probably one of the best lectures I have seen; I watched it in a philosophy course last spring. Very few people will ever live the last year of their life like he did.

CMU has a nice tribute to him on their front page.

Damn. Very inspirational guy.

Fucked up thing was I was thinking about him last night before going to sleep, was gonna Google him this morning.

RIP Randy Pausch.

I had not heard of this guy. Watching him, I felt like I knew him. How weird is that?

I read the book before I read the lecture and it put everything into perspective. Never read anything so inspirational by a dying man before. He taught me to never bitch about the little things anymore.
