Fuck it all this is driving me crazy. I use flashgot+flashget on my XP machine with a premium rapidshare account. I am trying to set my girlfriend up to download some music on her mac. It is an older iBook (10.4) and I can't find a frickin sollution. The best thing I found was Speed Download but it is for 10.5 and above. I need something that works with my a rapidshare premium account.

Anyone know a good sollution for this?

Speed download lite probably the best thing I've come accross for downloading RS links on a mac. (works best if you have an RS premium account) Maybe the lite version is good for 10.4.11

You could *cough* upgrade to leopard if your iBook got least 1gb in it.

You could get Transmission or Azureus and maybe peerguardian and head over to piratebay for your music needs.

Never had an endless supply of rapidshare links and a premium account before have you?

PS: Azureus on a mac is freaking bloat-ware. I use uTorrent for the mac, but Tramission will work on earlier than 10.5 and non-intel macs.

Sadly no. I have an older version of Azureus thats leaner without all the pushy video shit that's in it now. I used utorrent on a PC, how long has the Mac version been out?

never mind, I see it's still beta.

jdownloader once installed, you have to choose to run the .jar file, instead of the .exe file.
