Anyone scraping Google Trends for keywords (They even have a yummy RSS Feed) and then building articles based on those keywords automagically?

Im thinking about this. I wish I could just delegate this idea to my "team". But for right now, I am my team.

Probably hundreds of people or more, which makes the competition pretty though if you plan on getting those articles to rank. It would be pretty cool if you had a script that listed all the longtails, wrote the articles, plus had a blogfarm that would instantly build relevant links to those articles.

I am also wondering what google will do if they find out that you are scraping their site for splogging purposes.
 
Tons of people do this... Take any "hot" keyword and do a Google search for it. I've watched hot keywords go from 1,000 listings to 50,000 listings in less than 24 hours.

They will do what they do to most other confirmed splogs, penalize them in rankings or deindex them altogether. What, you think they'll send in a team of googlebot assassins or something?
