Recommend a good backup program that can do cyclical backups to a network drive

Title says it all.

Have tried True Image and Paragon Backup and Recovery and both are flaky at best. All I'm trying to do is setup cyclic backups to a mapped network drive.

I was using an old version of Paragon B & R on my old XP machine that worked, but I can't get their latest version to work on this new Windows 8 machine.

I swore I'd never touch True Image again either, so hopefully someone has another suggestion ...??

Doesn't windows have a built in backup now?

I've used SmartSync Pro in the past for various types of backups, give it a check on the web it may do what you need.

It has a really basic one but not good enough, and definitely no cyclic backups which is a must.
