Any suggestions? I spent about an hour googling, searching WF and DP, and got nothing.

I need something that is simple, clean and can support multiple authors and publishing at the discretion of the editor.

I'm weighing Wordpress or Article Friendly. For anyone else looking for article cmses, here is a list from the Article Friendly site

Wordpress seems viable, especially with the upcoming MU integration. I'd check that out.

And to actually answer your question, sounds like Wordpress would work fine. I don't even think you need MU, just have writers under the Contributors security role and you should be able to do everything you need.

There's a pretty decent article directory plugin for WP:

Article Directory WordPress Plugin Article Directory

I've tried ArticleMS and found it lacking; limited experience with other solutions.
