I discovered a tool called MyIPNeighbors. I see the importance of knowing what IP address your site is associated with, but if you are relying on shared servers from your hosting service, is there really an adverse risk of your site being penalized by sharing the same IP address with a blacklisted site? I know this is probably a simple question to answer for some and intuitively I would think this would be an issue, but at the same time it would seem ridiculous because legitimate sites would not have a fair shot. So what can you do to minimize your risk in this regard? What is the solution or solutions? (shit, it just occured to me that maybe someone on this forum designed this tool)

Yes, one blackhat SEO getting his domains blacklisted on a shared IP with 5000 other domains, those 4,990+ domains are also automatically blacklisted.

This is why every blog in the world needs a dedicated server.

BTW, Im selling dedicated servers. I have a special on 100 server lots for $20,000 a month if interested.

/seriously?
//im fuckin with you people.

So what is the solution??????? Dedicated hosting? This can't be it because i know many legitimate marketers rely on shared servers and have to be able to get around being blacklisted, but how?

I said I was fuckin with you.

Brains doesn't sit well with this one...

This is a classic case of where communicating through the internet is not conveying the essence of the question. I don't want to post and repost different forms of the fucking question that is why I hinted for you to elaborate on a solution, guess I was asking too much.

I knew you were fucking with me toward the end.

Some of this shit is intuitive anyway. Thanks for your expert insight. I am going to go jack off now.

Fucking shit. If you need hand holding for decrypting my post, go get a 9-5 and quit now before you spend thousands on PPC and make 1 $.50 sale.

So here's the decrypt of my original post, I can't believe I have to do this:

Yes, one blackhat SEO getting his domains blacklisted on a shared IP with 5000 other domains, those 4,990+ domains are also automatically blacklisted.

automatically = not

needs = doesn't need

= shared hosting is fine.

If you'd think about how many millions of domains are out there, with exception to the popular sites, most use shared.

I can't believe I have to do this:

Slow the horse down there COWGIRL!
You didn't have to do shit because I got you the first time, I was just wanting to discuss the ways of minimizing the risk of getting an IP address blacklisted, whether blackhat or whitehat.

Let me know where I can get my secret decoder ring to better interpret future posts or responses by you. Do you have an affiliate link?:1bluewinky:

Meanwhile, I am going to go put in my application for my 9-5-er @ IHOP.:food-smiley-002:
