I know landing pages are kept secret pretty well, but id like some tips on improving one that im currently working on.

When no State or City/State is Selected-
Foreclosures, Tax Leins & Bankruptcy Home Listings

When a State or City/State is Selected(Sonoma, California in this example)
Foreclosures in Sonoma California

Ive heard people say that getting the visitors email is good idea too, because you can build a list while trying to get sales. This form simply adds their Email to the DB and redirects to the affiliate URL.

If you look on the version where a State or City/State is selected you can see there is an option to Select Another State which shows/hides the map and the text links below it.

All links on the map and the text links to other states redirect directly to the affiliate's LP which happens to be the registration form

The bottom orange area where it says "Current Homes for Sale" is not done, still working on that...

In general, any advice would be greatly appreciated...I plan to run it on Adwords using Dynamic Keyword Insertion which is another area I will probably need help with.

Using the City and State DB off this forum I generated keywords and im breaking each Adgroup into states, so for instance, one Adgroup is Alabama, so if the DKI is too long it will replace it with Alabama....Example

{KeyWord:Alabama Foreclosures}

Bring the whole page up a bit and move some of the content closer together, you want as much above the fold as possible, especially for low resolutions.

Why do i get redirected to smiley central when i click on a state?

Was just going to say the same thing - I clicked on a 'live auction' it went to smiley central (I was expecting eBay live auctions or something similar).

I get a security warning when I get to the merchants landing page. Something like

"Pepperjammedia.com is trying to connect with pepperjammedia.com, this is a potential security risk, do you want to allow?"

Benefits!

Most of the content is geared towrds the features...You might to want to talk more about benefits to your target

As I am involved in a related target business - here are the benefits that would reach me.

--increased revenue/savings over more ocnventional ways of finding a house
--time saved
--what can they do with the saved money (as if they've already saved it by signing up)

And you can go higher on Maslow hierarchy as well.
--Freedom - which leads to more time to spend how you want - "instead of digging around for the leads your self - just have them emailed to you and do what you do best 'close the deal'" This could lead to upsell or a different list of those who are interested in related business opps

a10sys, Thank you for bringing that up, I agree and ill try to work more of th benefits in...

Yes, as was mentioned before, this is a US only offer...

scottspfd82, I had a talk with my AM about why the fuck its redirecting to pepperjammedia.com instead of foreclosure.com like it should be. They said they often share offers with other networks....I told her that it doesnt look inviting to to go through another middleman and she says shes going to have it directed back to foreclosure.com on Monday...

As for the lady, alot of people have said she looks kind of scary, maybe she does, but that certainly doesnt seem to be stopping people from viewing the site...

Kudos for posting a LIVE example instead of a simulation.
And to all who helpfully replied to make this a "teachable question/moment".
A reward for us noobs watching an intelligent question posted.

mrbeak, I completely agree, I know for many people here sharing your landing pages is like sharing your profits, but for me, I dont really care, ive had multiple PPC campaigns fail dismally and I figured it was time to get some feedback...

If someone wants to rip off my design, go ahead, oh, and fuck you...One more competitor isnt going to hurt, especially when im going up against multiple foreclosure companies with their own PPC campaigns

At this point I may decide to make this something similar to a full disclosure campaign, lord knows it more then likely end up a campaign where you learn how NOT to do things...

Anyway... So, ive got my landing page pretty set where I want it, I would like to spend more time on it, I may end up adding more features here and there, and once i test them, replace the current page so theres no downtime or paying for testing...

Ive got my campaign setup in Adwords, I plan to use 2 Adgroups per a state, my reasoning behind 2 adgroups per state? Simply, because I plan to use DKI(Dynamic Keyword Insertion) via Adwords, ill come back to that in a second...

Using the City/State keyword generator from this forum, I went ahead and generated the keywords for Alabama, im going to be doing the other ones shortly, but I wanted to start with 1 state...My keywords look like this:

Adgroup 1
foreclosures in [city] [state]
foreclosures in [city]

Adgroup 2
[city] [state] foreclosures
[city] foreclosures

Now, the the reason why I went with 2 adgroups per a state.... When using DKI, you have to specify a default phrase in case the dynamic keyword is too long.... Since I am using the keywords up above my ads look like:

Adgroup 1
Title: {KeyWord: Foreclosures in Alabama}
&
Adgroup 2
Title: {KeyWord: Alabama Foreclosures}

Now, if I was to have all of the keywords from each adgroup in one, it would cause issues with the 2 line description and the default text, which will show up quiet a bit considering the length of my keywords...

It may be more work then necessary, but im not taking chances...
