Review Site/Flog/What Else?

I'm trying to get an understanding of all landing page/site options available to affiliates. I understand there are

1) Review sites. These are sites that have reviews of multiple products.

2) Flog - Fake blogs. Like a smaller review site maybe?

3) Direct Linking

What are the other options? What kind of sites are people building that have 30-50 different pages? Legit sites?

Any kind of site you can imagine is "available" to an affiliate. Be creative and look at your competition, there are a million ways to try and sell something online, some work better than others. And yes, you can even make a "legitimate" site with real information if you feel like it. Or you can go to the other extreme and create a fake site meant to resemble a newspaper or real news station website. Like "newschannel6", or "The Hartford Times"...Also, you may want to check out some of the landing page template packages to see what people are offering, which is a good indicator of what's popular these days...
