In '07 I was doing really well with ringtones, like a 1.00 ecpc (obviously thats changed though..) sending organic traffic from the search engines. (It seems like that's all that I'm good at, ranking..) But, you know, ringtones have changed in the past year, with the lawsuits, etc..

Anyways, I've recently gotten back into it, but I can't seem to find a good converting offer. Am I just beating a dead horse? My eCPC is pretty much shit.. I'll go a day with a decent amount of leads, decent ecpc, and then the next day.. it's cut wayyyy back.. what could it be? Tracking? Are they getting scrubbed? It's the same quality amount of traffic, being sent from ringtone related keywords on Google.

Just looking around to see if anyone is running steady traffic for ringtones still:
- How are you doing?
- What's your avg ecpc?
- What offers are you running?

I'm looking for some better converting offers, even if they don't quite pay as much as the others, since I can't seem to find a good offer that's even close to steady.. I've tried the offers on Azoogle, Hydra, A4D, etc.. Let me know your suggestions, thanks!

They all suck to be honest. I think they are scrubbing the hell out of leads everywhere due to customer service complaints.

Which I think is bullshit because every god damn page has to have the terms and cost on it, visibly. Not my fucking problem people don't read. Dumb fucks.

Yeah man, I hear that. It's been down 75% at times... WTF?

Is there anything we can do? Are there any networks that are better then others? I'm getting tired of the bullshit...

I was running Flycell a couple months ago, when it still had the $15 payout, had 3 of them going and the best one was pulling $1.20 epc. Then they dropped the payout and starting scrubbing so I stopped it. About to try some Youtube shit, a couple of my buddies are doing pretty well with that, it just takes a lot of time to build it up.

@AlexJames, what do you mean by going direct? Like straight through Jamster? Give me some details, please. I've worked hard on the traffic, and am coming up almost empty handed. Thanks!

Most of the companies have direct affiliate programs if you do a large amount of volume and are experienced in the niche. Contact them directly.

Direct Options:
Dada - Welcome to OpenDada.com
Thumbplay Independent Artist Program - Sell Your Music, Make Money!
SendMe Mobile - Ringtones, Wallpapers, Text Messages, and Games for Your Cell Phone!

All of the above options require at least some level of integration / technical knowledge.

If you want to just place a link and be done like the good old days, NetPartner is the parent company of FunMobile and has the best ringtone offer currently available.

Not sure what the street prices are but ask for $17.00/lead.

They also have a pretty good points / gifts system - $2500 in revenue gets you a PS3, $5000.00 in revenue gets you a laptop... these numbers are easy to hit, but the perks are nice.

The only downside is that they are located in Hong Kong so getting a hold of your aff mgr can be difficult given time differences.

If thats true, you are asking the wrong question. If you can rank sites organically, fast and easy, then you should forget ppc and build blogs et al and promote offers on scale..

Wtf? I've never seen rewards that great. Usually it's like, 5 million dollars gets you a $10 Arby's giftcard.

That is true...there has been scrubbing due to customer chargebacks etc... But with programs such as in my sig...we're charging a one off fee, not subscription...which has almost no complaints. Customers are more satisfied with our product and tend to come back... The downside would be we can't afford to pay $14 CPA, but with returing customers I think our affiliates see more sales which make up for this. Plus with the ability to put our application directly on your site is really great for keeping your visitors on YOUR site longer... PM me for more info. :)

I really appreciate everyone's replies.

Yeah, I definitely have to agree with the fact that ringtones has changed drastically.. and most should not be getting into it.. Although I'm set in a solid place, ranking and traffic-wise, so instead of shutting down the campaign, I'm just looking for ways to salvage it, and turn some profit to start other projects.

I'll be looking into going direct with a few places, as well as checking out other offers. (Like the NetPartner, Affiliate.com, etc)

Thanks again.
